Yes. Every device ships pre-configured for your account — your business info, item catalog or menu where applicable, and tip prompts already loaded — so you can plug in and take a payment the day it arrives.
Can I use my current terminal or POS with Xray Payment? +
Often, yes. Many standalone terminals (PAX, Dejavoo, Valor, Verifone, Ingenico) can be reprogrammed to our processing once your current provider releases the device. Some systems are locked to their vendor — a Clover from another ISO, or Toast/Square — and there we supplement or replace with a terminal that fits. Tell us what you run and we'll confirm.
What's the difference between Clover, Valor, PAX, and Dejavoo? +
Clover is a full POS ecosystem with an app marketplace and online ordering. Valor and PAX are versatile Android terminal families spanning countertop, mobile, PIN pad, and kiosk. Dejavoo offers budget-friendly Android terminals and PIN pads. We'll steer you to the one that fits your features and budget.
Do your terminals accept tap-to-pay and contactless? +
Yes — every current terminal takes tap-to-pay (contactless cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay), chip, and swipe. With tap-to-phone you can even accept contactless on your own iPhone or Android with no extra hardware.
Can I buy a terminal outright, or is it a lease? +
Both options are available, and the right one depends on your program and volume. We lay out the purchase and placement options — including any terms — up front, so you pick what makes sense for your business.
